I have a friend on the coast that has a 5 year old spayed female who
recently began having trouble with her back legs working. The first vet told
them
that the MUST stop smoking around the dog because she had "smokers" lungs.
Neither of them smoke, nor have they ever smoked. The next vet decided that
she had spinal compression and operated. He found a "tumor or infection"
and removed it to relieve the compression.
He sent it off for labs and told them he thought it was cancer. Well, it
came back as non-cancerous but it was Aspergillus (sp?). Do any of you have
any info on this or any experience with it?
Thanks in advance,
Sarah
