One of the best things Tedi did for me was to let Ben stop being shown for a year so that I could recover from surgery, and then take him in for his last points to finish. I was probably not ready fully, but I did take him in, and when he got that win, I couldn't breath or say anything for about five minutes. Guzman and I went back and forth, and it seemed like neither of us had the edge. Both dogs would finish by winning on that day,and we both wanted the win. I was almost done and knew I only had another pass or two, and so I flicked the lead, let out 12 feet of leather, and ran for all I had. Ben took on a new speed I never had seen before, or since, and won the show to finish. Another memory I will never forget.
