As my good friend Sue Barr wrote to you this morning, John Fabian, renowned
handler and judge, and a very good friend of mine, passed away last night.
Calling hours are Friday at the Hethrington & Dean's Funeral Home, 5176
Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Canada L2E 4E3. Their phone # is
905-354-5614.
The church service is Saturday at 2 pm at St. Patrick's Church, also on
Victoria Avenue. I met John and his beautiful wife Margaret, almost 7 years
ago
when they bought a Dallas son out of my Mastercharge daughter, that Jim
(Moses) and I co-bred. They had so much fun finishing Mackie, and Mackie even
went
BOM or BIM at the NE fut/mat the year he was shown. Mackie also was 2nd
open dog and 4th open dog respectively, at the US AND Canadian nationals, the
year he was shown. John was healthy until the end, enjoyed a great life at
85
years of age, but there was still so much more he wanted to do. He was such
an active man. I will thank God that a 'dog' brought us together and a
