Are we THAT important? I think we are--but I think THEY are too. I had nursed Ketchy through 2 strokes and she had her good days and bad days. After all, she WAS 13. In June, I started putting her out in the kennel till I'd get home from school--fresh air, warm sunshine for my sweetest girl. I got home from school one day and she was deathly ill. With the adrenaline rushing, I picked her up in my arms and raced to Dr. Jack's, 10 minutes away. She died before I got there. I didn't know it THEN, but I know it NOW that she waited for me to get home from school to say good-bye. What strength of will--the mold was broken when she passed away!
