The change you made,and I believe you did it when I was President,saying names had to be attached to the votes,applied only to the normal voting done during normal business at our meetings,and it was a very good thing. But it would not apply to closed sessions with ballots. There is a need for secrecy in very few instances,( closed sessions)for isolated items, but that need is there so people feel free to vote as they want--like membership application.& surprise honors to people ( Roll of Honor Etc.). In this case,Lew even checked with the AKC on procedure.
