Check with Schutzhund USA. It looks like one of their tattoo numbers. They
normally do ears but I have had dogs done on the inside of the thigh. Beth

Hi
I need help identifying a breeder tattoo found on a lost GSD's flank,
and since you are a breeder referral contact for the Louisiana Kennel
Club, I'm hoping you can help me.
The dog was picked up as a stray in Baton Rouge and held at the public
shelter, where this sweet girl was at risk of euthanasia before being
fostered. The dog looks like she is probably from American show lines,
and the training and gait make me suspect that somebody has shown this
dog at some point.
I rescue German Shepherd Dogs , and while this dog is now safe and will
be rehomed if we don't find her owner, I'd really like to help her find
her way back to her people. The tattoo on her flank is as follows:

Can you help us figure out what this tattoo means? I'm emailing many,
many GSD breeders in the state in hopes somebody recognizes this number,
I've checked the national registries, and it's not registered anywhere.
So far, I don't have any leads though.
