I do not see how this is going to help the dog with HD.
"Hip dysplasia is an inheritable disease occurs when a dog’s hip develops
abnormally."
Solution has always been not to breed dogs that have HD or ED and through years
of careful
breeding by responsible GSD Breeders do not see it as much anymore.
Which seems to prove this as the GSD is not mentioned in the article.
However, we still have those backyard, puppy mill breeders that do no testing on
their animals so the innocent puppy buyers and their dogs suffer.
I do know that even with testing it sometime can still surface in pups even
through
the sire and dam are OFA'd with good hips and elbows.
