There were some meetings where I appeared, wrote what was going on, and
posted it from the meeting. Then Margy and Dania did it too, and it came out
the
same day. It was not official, but believe me, it was accurate without
editing. Nothing was made up, and nothing was said that wasn't what actually
happened. If I ever attend another board meeting I will do it again.
Although, I
was told that at one meeting the people were told not to use laptops, but then
Lew corrected it to say they shouldn't be sending stuff out. I think there
was some concern it might disrupt the meeting.
I enjoyed the BOG, but was looking to see what the club spent, (our money)
on the lawyer and the parliamentarian? It was not there. I wrote to Bill
asking for that, and said so on the List. None of the board members has
responded, and I have not heard from Bill. But, I know Bill is very busy as he
is
setting up what is called a Special Executive Board Meeting, (whatever that
is),
to listen to Margy's responses.
If anyone does know about this expense, let me know.
