Norm was an asset and friend to our breed. He left us much too soon. I
always enjoy his judging and visiting with him. Our sincerest condolences to
his family and close friends.

Pat, I have been asked by Norman Herbel's daughter, Carmen, to advise
the fancy of Norm's death. He passed away about 10:30 this morning,
August 10, 2008. It is my understanding he did not want flowers, only
memorials. They are going to have a service in the home for family and
very close friends. I thought you were on more e-list than I, and
could help me get out this information.
I will miss seeing Norm both in the ring and the arena.
