Just got this from Judge's-L
A sad note...... Sam Lawrence, judge and exhibitor, died this afternoon
peacefully at his home. He would have been 90 years old on May 10. His
first breed to exhibit was German Shepherd Dogs. He was also the
owner/exhibitor of many well known dogs who won over 100 Bests in Show
including the
Doberman Pincher, Kafka, the sire of over 100 champions. Sam is survived by
his wife, Marion and five daughters, Barbara, Ruth, Kathy, Debbie and Diane
plus many granchildren.
