[ SHOWGSD-L ] Animal Shelter Reform....we need this NOW!!!!

This kind of action is what Dawn Bechtolds group is fighting. There was a
photo of what looked to be a purebred GSD pup around 10 weeks old in this group
of missing animals!!! We can only pray that they euthanized them instead of
selling them to class B dealers or straight to the laboratories.
"Connecticut rescuers turned away by GA animal control officer from shelter
where they are being killed, or are they? Many animals have all but
disappeared that were deemed to go to rescue up north. There is a group of
women that work with a local GA animal protection agency U.S. Animal
Protection with the group animal shelter reform a campaign formed by U.S.
Animal Protection to stop the cruel killings and reform shelters by
documenting cruelty that occurs behind the walls of these shelters.
When rescuers attempted to save these animals the rescuers were told they
could not save them because this shelter had problems with someone up north.
This licensed organization never had problems with the shelter or its aco.
This group of women had put credit cards up for vet care and were ready to
transport these animals up north to pre adopted homes after the aco said he
would transport them to the vet, he then changed his mind again about sending
them. It seems every time rescue tried to acquire animals from this shelter
it was impossible. Are these animals being killed or something worse? Could
these animals perhaps be being sold under the table to class b dealers or
labs? Where are these animals going? Or are they being killed instead of
sending them to families that would love and care for them."
