This came up on my Facebook newsfeed and it raises certain very
interesting questions. Rare breeds aside, I wonder….
There ‘should be’ enough diversity in the German Shepherd breed to not
have to pursue a genetic rescue, but my curiosity having been aroused..
IF it was necessary to bring a (or some) other breeds into the GSD, which
breeds would you think compatible and capable of improving the breed.
Remember, the GSD started from a mix of breeds. Would we go back to them
IF we knew exactly what they were? or maybe… DO we know exactly what they
were/
