Since I was plane fare shopping for a flight the end of January, I was  
told about Yapta, which gives alerts on as many flights as you choose,  
for price drops, etc.  Cool!  This DOES relate to dogs, going to dog  
shows, the high price of everything.


Anyway, the phenomenon I found interesting is that every Wednesday,  
there were considerable drops in fares.  You all probably know about  
this, but I'm usually a traveler, not the ticket buyer LOL).   I found  
a price close enough to my target price last Wednesday that I took  
it.  I just took a stab in the dark for a target price and it was very  
low... so a good deal!)
