As someone who grew up knowing the Rin Tin Tin dogs as their owner and
trainer, Lee Duncan and my father were friends, I would say that a
Shepherd is a Shepherd, and I'm sure Lee would feel that any handsome,
well trained dog would be fine. Of course, if there is a handsome
descendant available, that would be Great!! Daphne, did the Lassie movie
mention that all the Lassies were male? My husband was a long-time
cameraman on the TV show, and they were always combing his "cleavage"
