I remember one time I had a woman come with her brat to look at my last
puppy for sale from a litter the puppy was about 4 months old. well the kid
was running all over the place yelling and screaming ,he thought he was
playing with the pup. I could see the prey drive coming up on the puppy and
I told her to get her kid. when she called the little dear he totally
disobeyed her and kept running around and running from his mother. Well by
now the puppy had made a couple of grabs for the brat . And I yelled get
your kid and she finally did so I could get a hold of the pup and kennel
him.
I then walked to the gate and went to the drive way she followed me
dragging the kid. I just turned to her and said I don't have a puppy for you
and before you think of getting a dog you had better get control of your kid
first. she just stood there and looked shocked. I went into the house and
shut the door. She finally got it together and left.
End of story.

I will take this one step farther= when I use to sell puppies if the
parents did not make their children, behave when they came to my house I
did and then they would not get a puppy . I feel that they don't
make children, behave how will they handle a puppy
I do similar to what Jackie does. My house dogs are always my old people
and they don't always like to be messed with so I put them up . screamy.
Yelly runny kids get on my nerves too. My old people don't have to put up
with it.

I take over kids in my house and during my lessons at their house. If the
parents can't take me taking over, they will never do anything I say. Today
was a perfect example. I heard the mom say do homework then I heard TV. I
said something, they got taken away from both TV and homework. sheila
