Hi group,

Sue Godek is not a member of this GS email list so she asked me to send it
out, as we normally do this time of year.
I have been a director of this Foundation since 2000 and currently am in
charge of overall Fundraising. We have been doing pretty well the last few
years and are starting to see some good results to help improve the breed,
especially in the DM area. I am the person to talk to or email if you are
considering adding the Foundation to your will or trust. My email is
PeterCacioppo@xxxxxxxxxxxx and my telephone number here in CA is
925-377-6416.

Thanks,

Peter Cacioppo

The American German Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation, Inc. (which is
supported and 'affiliated' with the German Shepherd Dog Club of America)
will hold its tenth Annual Silent Auction in Concord, NC. GSDCA member
Carolyn Lavengood is again the Coordinator for this event, to raise funds
for the health of our breed. In 2004 the Foundation donated $89,000 to
research grants specific to the German Shepherd Dog. Your help is needed.
Any item you are willing to donate, especially GS related items, would be
appreciated. A brochure is printed prior to the National so please contact
Carolyn at Kandismom@xxxxxxx or evenings at 859 272-7500 to give her details
on what you can donate to the auction so she can have the brochure ready
before the National. You can either ship the item or bring it to the
National. The Silent Auction is held during the show on Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday ((Nov. 2, 3 and 4th, 2005). Last year several Regional
Clubs donated baskets for the auction. I hope several will again this year.

Also, any person wanting to add their dog to the CLIFF RECOGNITION
SCULPTURE (this is to recognize your "special dogs") should send the
information, write-up, picture and a check to Sue Godek prior to October 1st
to allow time for engraving. The sculpture will again be on display at the
Foundation's Benefit Party after judging on Friday night, Nov. 4th. Any
questions regarding this, including the donation needed, please refer to the
AGSDCF website at ( www.agsdcf.org ) and hit the "Cliff Recognition
Sculpture" button on the left. Thank You. Sue Godek, President, The American
German Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 IRS foundation.
End.......
