This reminded me of my Cruzer....he had DM and could not walk his last
year (he is at the bridge now). I built him a platform so he could be up off
the ground just slightly, and he held audience from that. He loved his
baseball and would catch it then roll it off the platform back to me. When
he wasn't playing and it just rolled off, he would bark for me to come back
and put it safely beside him where he could keep a close eye on it.
The spirit of these dogs is incredible when they deal with hardship. Find
a way around it and keep playing!
