Also had a pup born close to a day after the rest of the litter and she was fine. Was shocked to go check on babies in the AM and found an extra. She was a coat and is now 13 1/2 years old....never been to the vet in her life. Used the method Kathy described using the needle under the nose pad in the slit 2 litters ago and yes, when I saw blood I knew there was hope. Was so glad my fertility vet taught me that one.
