[ SHOWGSD-L ] Amateur Futurity

I was disappointed to find out that my 13 year daughter Lindsey was unable =
to compete in the Amateur Futurity since I handle dog for a fee. On one occ=
asion she took a class winner back in for J.R. at a show (under protest). S=
he=E2=80=99s a true amateur with inklings of wanting to possibly show dogs =
in the future. =20

I spoke with Nancy Harper about it and she said that since this is all new =
this year to expect some rule changes for next year. I thought that was abs=
olutely great to hear and just wanted to throw it out on the list to see wh=
at others thought about it.
Do you all think that family members of profession handlers should be allow=
ed to show in the Amateur Futurity?
