[ SHOWGSD-L ] Allergies & the GSD

Years ago the Army was putting me through a series of allergy tests. I was  
idly chit-chatting with the technician who was busy sticking needles in my  
back and just happened to mention that I had German Shepherd Dogs. The tech 
said  
"I'm glad you mentioned that -- we have a separate test for German Shepherd  
dander." Fortunately I was allergy-free when it came to GSDs, but I'm glad it  
came up in conversation! It proves that dog dander isn't just dog dander - it 
 matters what the source is!

quality  long coated GSD.  The WORLD will fall in love with a coated GSD,  
people just cannot keep their hands off them, the girl will fall in love  
with him.  The girl's allergies might (operative word) be  alleviated.  And 
it will still have all the protective instinct and  smarts of the regular 
coated GSD.  This way, both Pres & VP are  inundated with love for the GSD 
and we have a little more protection for  out breed.  Win-win situation for 
us (if the dog is from a good  breeder).
