We do it to prove our breeding stock...why? To stop the bad guys, find the
Alzheimer's patient, the lost child, the suicidal woman before she harms
herself, the evidence that human eyes can't see but that a dog's nose can
smell...like tossed away firearms, drugs, bombs, contraband.
These are the things my dogs have done and why I'll do protection work. ;-)

K9 Kai- lost Senior citizen, lost small child, drugs, once personally
escorted a frat house party of about 100 to "The Bus". Adored kids and was
an excellent PR K9, as well as family pal...once when my 2 year old son
fell, he ran over and picked him up and put him on his feet. (Kai was my
hubby's Narcotics K-9) Kai also found so many people's lost dogs that he got
written up in our local news and even years later we got a phone call "Is
the place with the dog that tracks dogs?)
K9 Dax- Suicidal woman, drugs, bad guys, 2X out-tracked the SP Bloodhounds
K9 Granit- Bad guys, lost hunter, lost kids, lots of PR
K9 Axel- Bad guys, bad guys and more bad guys...he went in some of the
cities most serious bad places first so cops/bad guys would not be killed.
K9 Noah - Bad guys...where ever they were...even hiding in between first and
second floor after bank robbery...tracking them right down a cement sidewalk
through crowds people, over fences, taking a hit from the bad guy and still
finding him and finding the evidence tossed. (PS K9 Kai son)
K9 Fritz- bad guys, taking a bad hit so his handler didn't and living to go
get them another day, visited senior citizens homes, schools and found a few
kids that were lost and tossed evidence.. (PS K9 Axel grandson, K9 Dax
nephew)
K9 Ninja- Lost Alzheimers patient, a little child, a lost hunter, drugs
K9 Jaque - Keeping them IN the pen.
K9 Zelda- Finding the bomb before it goes off
