For some reason my emails to the "list" are bouncing back to me, so hope
this goes through. The Atlanta Equestrian Center, constructed for the
Olympics, has acres and acres of grounds, some smaller covered areas for
obedience, rally, agility etc. 15 minutes from Atlanta International
Airport, a great airport for receiving larger crates. Lots of Motels,
Hotels and eating establishments almost within walking distance. 25 minutes
from Downtown Atlanta. Also larger Corporate type Hotels in same area.
October weather in Atlanta is conducive to showing Specials outdoors.
Grounds are huge. I don't know about getting sheep to the location. So
much room for EVERYTHING. Remembering the National in 84 outdoors in
Phoenix - the dogs do look great on grass.
In our business we deal EVERY SINGLE DAY with the airlines, we usually
receive a "heads up" if there are going to be major changes of aircraft
type, or routing.
Would be happy to give any input we can.
