It's all about commitment.. sometimes you have to stick with it.. maybe down the road you will decide this girl would just be better off in a different home, but it is never right to make hasty decisions at a time of sadness or disappointment.. I remember a LONG time ago we lost out first shepherd to torsion.. my entire family was devastated.. and I do mean completely and utterly destroyed by her loss.. I called up the person I had gotten my other shepherds from and told her I was getting rid of the dogs. period. and would she help me place them.. she said yes... but in a month, not then...she said call her in a month if that was still what I wanted... the rest is history.. oh, there have been losses and great sadness and grief over the years, but the lesson learned was not to jump into action..wait a month.. things just might look a little different..
