[ SHOWGSD-L ] Advice needed long/Update

I'm posting this for Darcy.
 
I wanted to update everyone from me about gidget. I am 81/2 months prego and on 
bed rest witch we did not find this out until after we go her so I could not 
work with gidg like she needed after she got here. She by no means is an 
alligator she was very abused by (everyone knows who's husband) who was a large 
man We did not have problems with her here at home with my family she loved me 
and my children very much. It was my father in law that she had an issue with 
giving he is over 300lbs I think she associated him with the other man she 
never full mouth bit to draw blood but she did nip him 3 times.I did not want 
to take the chance of her really biting him bad so I talked to my good Friend 
about her. Being she had just lost her old boy to the bridge she offered to 
take and train her. So I took her over there. she has trained shepherds for a 
long time. She did a very extensive evaluation on her and said she could work 
through her problem and would
 keep her as a indoor family pet if she could be spayed. gidg goes jogging with 
her husband and is very much settled in a a family pet I seen her last week and 
she greeted everyone with wagging tail. She is in a very loving home with 
people who are working on her problems she has already started her obedience 
training and gidg is doing very well at it. I just did not want everyone 
thinking she was an alligator. I really think the world of this poor dog she 
has been through allot all ready and has finally got a very good shot at just 
being loved in a home not in a kennel. or as a brood bitch which she dose not 
need to be. Giving her past.
