In my years as a consultant to the Senate Republicans in Sacramento there
was one thing I learned, the dopes, Dems and Reps, never fully read what
they vote on! When writing an objection to PAWS be sure to pick one key
point to tell them about because at least then they probably will read the
darn thing before voting. This came home to me very strongly when some of
the Senators took a good look at what they had passed on election laws. To
a person they did not know that they had deleted all requirements for proof
of residency or citizenship; incidentally this was before I was on the job
so don't blame me. LOL Needless to say the majority party would not correct
that either.
