ok, just to clarify...I am commenting about the statement "TOTALLY TRUST", not
about food, additives, who feeds what or when, whether it is raw, cooked or
anything in between or what have you..
if the food (in this case Canidae) is "TOTALLY" TRUSTED then additives would
not be necessary - If you add stuff it is probably because you don't trust the
food to deliver everything the dog needs..
(and trusting food vs enhancing the taste are pretty different in my mind <g>)

I think that almost ANYone that is showing dogs today will tell you that there
really isn't a PERFECT Dry food. Esp. one that you just can throw in the bowl
and walk away. I don't know too many people that do that or even think it will
work. Leslie is saying that works for her...and NO she doesn't "totally trust"
the kibble, but she was Sharing her food IDEAS with the list...THANK YOU
LESLIE! BTW..Les, you have the MOST georgous dog in the world...hehe...so keep
feedin' the way you are!!!

I understand, and I respect your choices and decisions for your dogs.. All I am
saying is that if a person "totally trusts" a dog food - of any description or
formula, they don't add stuff to it..adding meat, yogurt and supplements to any
food indicates to me that you do not believe any dog food formula provides the
right amount of protein and vitamins/minerals for the best nutrition for your
dogs.. .

I have always added meat, yogurt and supplements, even before using Canidae,
this is what I am comfortable with and works well on our dogs. Everyone has
their preference of what works best for them.
Whether it is raw, kibble or a combination.
