I agree tht the treatment of thes animals was horrible!!! I want to know where

cannot use animals that cannot walk to the slaughter station. Inabioity to walk
is one of hte indicators of a number of diseases - like mad cow - and that is
what they are responding to. Freezing does nothing to make meat safe from Mad
Cow diease.
Instead of immediately jumping on everything the HSUS does, why not jump on
those things they do that are inapropriate. In this case they are right from
both the health regulation and animal welfare point of view. I do not believe
it is ethical to treat animals they way these were before butchering them. And
yes, I eat meat.
