Hi Kate, Funny you asked..............
A couple of weeks ago my Aunt tells me she is getting a Lab puppy, =
already
paid for it , she didn't tell anyone , so that we couldn't try and talk =
her
out of it. ( She has a lot of issues and shouldn't have a large dog) She =
got
it from a breeder on the internet from Texas......Parents have this and =
that
puppy has this and that...... Yada yada
I told her to give me the breeders website , I would like to see it. She
paid 1,300+ shipping. So she calls me with the info........The =
'breeders'
website is Breeders Direct.com
WHAT?????? So go on the site,which a will say is a very nice =
website.......
and just as I expect. Then we had the whole issue of AKC or ACA ( which =
is a
mill registry). Originally she was told AKC, then after she paid she got
conformation with ACA registry on it. And now the dog was from =
Nebraska?!?!?
I called them for her and gave them a hard time, and left them =
scrambling
and she had the option of NOT taking the dog...but did anyway......
Sigh....felt is was just meant to be.=20
After all she was told he was raised in the house ( he is 4 months old),
housebroken,and crate trained..........
Well after several calls to ME about housebreaking and crate
training..........;0) She ended up calling Breeders Direct and told them =
IF
this dog was raised in the house , there house must be a real pit, they
can't have anything on their counters and full of pee and poop! LOL
Life time gurantee is plastered all over too. Which sounds great to =
people.
Boy they even will replaced a dog lost or stolen, BUT read the fine
print........... You have to have receipts for all there food, vets, and
proof that they where NOT spayed or nuetered.???
Sigh...........
