Your Board is elected to run the club. They do not have to put anything but By
Law and
Standard changes before the entire membership. "THEY" DId not make it up as
they went along.
Nobody made it up. The Board voted in January 2012 to Not allow ILP/PAL dogs
to get the
award - registered GSDs only. Check the January 2012 Minutes (motion listed
below):
James Moses moved that the Board adopt a position that all AKC Registered GSD
be entitled
to compete for and to be eligible to win any and all GSDCA performance event
prizes and
titles. Following discussion the vote was taken with all voting in favor except
for Dorothy Linn
who was opposed and Nancy Harper-Mulvaney who abstained.
