Now, it appears if I ever want another "AOE" title, once again I MUST leave
it to some other "expert" to get that job done. Once again my job as the
owner will be limited to "just writing another check" to prove to the GSD
world my dog can work!.

What a BUMMER!

Ann Solt Try herding if you get a chance. Both of you will love it. Doris

Hi Ann and others who have posted on this subject.

I agree with Ann. I have had three or four AOE's and those achievements are the
proudest in my dog career. I was fortunate to have a herding facility close
enough to "play".

This Board is working long and hard for the members. I did not get this report
prior to the meeting and take full blame for this motion passing. I have heard
from several other directors that they also heard, whether or not stated, that
the chairman of the committee approved of this action. It was noisy in the room
and we had a hand-held microphone only one day that was not always passed
around.
Because there was confusion and the fact that this motion was made under the
wrong committee report I will take blame. By precedent we do not pass motions
without talking to the Chairman. If the chairman quoted was the rally chair,
many of us did not realize this.
Poop happens and we can clean it up. I have asked that this motion not be
included in the Board-o-Gram. I am informed that there will be a motion to
reconsider this topic at the next regular or special meeting of the Board. We
were remiss to pass a motion without a date for implementation. Important work
was done. Let's not let one "poop" distract from those efforts.
The Board continues to care about input from the membership and worked hard
this weekend for those same members and our wonderful breed.

Now back to our wonderful expectations of our National in Ohio. Send in your
seating requests. We will have risers with folding padded chairs at ringside.
There will be sections, with four rows. There are some bleachers on the white
wall side of the ring for those who do not care to purchase an assigned seat.
Many thanks to Bill Burggraff and Patty Korsch for their continuing hard work.

We are wiping the egg from our faces (at least I am) and remain at your service.

Gail H
