with out reading and understanding the AKC policy about not wanting their
judges to judge in other organizations....I say BS to the AKC...the AKC should
be concerned with making sure their judges judge and behave according to the
rules and policies of the AKC...PERIOD....what I do in or with another
organization is none of their damn business...I hate controls...shame on the
AKC....always willing to hear the other point of view...Ed Hill

I was sent, by Vivian the full text. The AKC raised a good point. They feel
by giving judges licenses they award a certain prestege, (maybe not in my
case) that should not be used to give credence to other venues. They exclude
ARBA
as they allow judges to judge any breed not accepted by the AKC, or any
breed that the judge is not licensed to judge.
I understand the thinking behind the new rule, and can't say I disagree with
it. It is a bit of a crunch on their judges, but we don't have to accept an
AKC license if we don't want it.
