Am with Evan on this. I have not (touch wood) had any problems with the
AKC and we have had a lot of contact since my moving south with all my
Canadian dogs. They have worked with me to get them registered in a timely
manner -
in fact last fall a pup I whelped down here and sold in Canada was
registered up there by the new owners with the AKC and got papers back in 9
business
days. The CKC would never be able to compete with that.
I have had many dealings with our area rep for shows and trials in getting a
new show date and working through some local club issues. I have found them
patient and helpful. Maybe I have been lucky, but certainly cannot complain
from my end.
