I don't think you have to worry about it. I went to my first and last UKC show
last weekend, didn't show, just watched.

That ship set sail several years back as I believe that
UKC now has a GSD Parent Club. That wasn't always the
case. I also believe (and I know I'll be corrected if I'm
wrong) that the current UKC German Shepherd Club was
started by some white GSD folk right around or right after
the WS was granted full acceptance as a separate breed.
