[ SHOWGSD-L ] AKC Judges Fees

Hi All;
I wanted to clarify something with the Judges Fee and Delegates. The Delegates
did not vote on this, this was a Board decision and many Delegates are not
happy about it. Many feel as so many of you do, that the fee should only apply
after a Judge has been approved to Judge one Group so that Speciality Judges
and those with only a few breeds do not drop out.
I am sure that this will be a topic at the June meeting in Atlanta, which
unfortunately I can not attend. See Delegates pay their own
expenses to the meeting, unless they have a Club that can afford to pay for
them. Again like so many we are Delegates out of dedication to the sport as
only the Board gets paid for meetings. I presume that the Parent Club pays for
Carmen to attend
Delegates meetings, but my Club is small, so I pay my own way.
