It's probably because the specialty judges cannot wrap their
brains around the concept of only one select in each sex beyond
BOB and BOS. Starting next weekend, specialty shows are going to
be seriously interesting. LOL

The All-Breed judges don't seem to have as much trouble understanding this as
some specialty judges!! :-) :-)
It isn't rocket science!!
I sure hope the GSDCA Select Committee doesn't berate and deride the AKC for
using Select ribbons!! :-) :-)

lol, evan - i surely hope someone can. i am judging in June and have more
than a few questions on this topic, including the following:
grand CH points may only be awarded to champions of record. BUT, those
eligible in the BOB class do include the winner(s) of the veteran class(es) -
how is the judge supposed to know whether that vet is a CH of record or
not? this whole thing sounds like a future paperwork nightmare - points
awarded ... points taken away due to ineligibility. swiss cheese.
