There is and has been for many years a high scoring rescue dog award given
in agility, obedience and herding (I am not sure about tracking); plus they
can compete for High In Trial, High Combined, etc.

I agree about not giving ILP dogs our top awards. But, I want to encourage
their participation and feel it would be a positive situation to have their
owners able to participate and be exposed to purebred german shepherds. So,
is there any way to just offer a high score award in each performance event
to the top ILP dog? I feel we should be as inclusive as possible while still
supporting the purebred German Shepherd.
Also, as a side note, I have no problem changing the rules to allow white
german shepherds to compete in conformation as they are german shepherds and
have always existed in the breed. In fact, I believe, they use to show
alongside colored shepherds until someone complained and got them kicked
out. A great german shepherd is a great german shepherd- regardless of
color...... I'm not threatened by them at all. I have seen a white bred to a
colored dog produce an awesome AKC Champion and nobody would have known that
dog had a white parent.
