[ SHOWGSD-L ] AKC Board Minutes - Legislative Staff Recommendations

There are Legislative staff recommendations to the AKC Board. These are 
important recommendations, and is indicative of how difficult it is for the AKC 
Government Relations Staff to bring AKC Legislative Position statement out for 
us to utilized.  (my opinion, of course)

Some areas that were covered were APHIS (Margaret Poindexter’s staff’s analysis 
of APHIS as regards to possible legal action, recommended position statements 
on fraudulent service dogs accommodations, dogs on public transportation, 
Animal Terrorism Act (AETA), breeding restrictions/regulations,
 They will be taken up again at the December meeting.
