Do not attempt to send attachments to the list. The sever will
STRIP them off. THis prevents the sending of viruses on the list.
When AOL members forward something, it comes as an
attachment. You must cut and paste into a new email.
IF YOU NEED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CUT AND PASTE:
PRINT THIS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
If you have a message of value you want to forward, here's how to
do it:
1. Highlight the text in the message by clicking on it while holding
down the left mouse button. Highlight only the text you want to
forward.
Remember you do not have to send the whole message.
2. Click on REPLY. This will copy that part of the message into a
new message.
3. Add the comments you want to make.
4. Now change the recipient address (TO:) to
showgsd-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
5. Hit SEND and you've successfully avoided giving the server and
the admin a heart attack! :)
You must also cut and paste out all the stuff you do not need to
resend to the list such as the header (all the email addresses and
stuff) and footer (the stuff at the bottom of a post such as the
copyright) information.
You can cut and paste several messages into one, saving on
bandwidth and place your comments between them
