Exactly what the rule is, thank you Tish!

The admin are not deaf, dumb, blind or controlling

And if you send these things privately, the person will receive it

It is possible that people are set to vacation and will not get the post sent 
to the list

We certainly want to hear euologies, annoucements etc, but do not need to hear

Condolences, happy birthday or congrats that are meaningless to most people on 
the list.
