This is not correct information. I am a member of Take The Lead. When
Katrina hit here they sent money to 3 of my club members who lost everything
they
owned from flood waters. They sent them a check and then about 6 weeks later
a representative from TTL contacted them to see how they were doing. A second
check followed in the mail. Anyone having financial problems in the dog
world can apply to take the lead, that does not mean they will get it but they
sure can ask for help.
