Just wanted to make a correction. There was only ONE puppy "Panda" born in
the litter of normal German Shepherds. The puppy's name was Frankie and she
had blue eyes, along with the color mutation.  It was called a double
mutation and she was proven to be a purebred GSD. DNA testing was done on
Frankie, her sire and dam - they were German lines. She's reproduced puppies
like her with the coat color, but has never reproduced herself with the double
mutation (blue eyes and coat color).  I used to show in UKC with her
breeder Cindy McCann several years before that.  Cindy sent me pictures of
the litter and pictures after Frankie grew up and some of her puppies. Â
