I've never kept track of how many specialties different breeds have. I can
tell you
a way to look at it, tho...check how many dogs are required for majors in
other breeds.
Last time I looked, Labradors and Goldens (both) needed close to 100 dogs
for
a 5-point major. That means that their show entries warrant that........ I
could be
wrong, but I don't EVER remember Shepherds needing anything like that,
anywhere
in the country.
Just for fun, check the point schedules for your own
region........requirements for
Shepherd entries in most places seem to be about the same as what we used to
see in the American-bred classes.
