[ SHOWGSD-L ] A good weekend in Beaumont!

We went to the Beaumont, TX all-breed shows on Saturday and Sunday, and =
had a great time! This is in the same building where the National will =
be held--it will definitely be a great show! I hadn't been inside the bu=
ilding before this weekend, and was very pleased with the facility.
On Saturday, our 15 month old girl Kona (Windmill's Paradise City) was R=
WB under Donald Gill from Bred-By. She has only been shown a few weeken=
ds (picking up a major reserve 3 weeks ago) and we are very happy with h=
er results! On Sunday, Kona was WB/BOW/BOS under breeder-judge Henry Gr=
egory for her first point (from Bred-By). At least she decided to keep =
all four feet on the floor for a little while! LOL! She has such a gre=
at attitude, it's fun to be in the ring with her! She is definitely a cl=
own and LOVES to be the center of attention! Kona is by CH Kenlyn's Coa=
ch HiCliff Kaleef and out of Windmill's Every Breath You Take.
In Juniors, Ashley (showing Maia--Wndmlls Every Rose Has Its Thorn) plac=
ed 4th on Saturday, and won her Open Senior class on Sunday under Henry =
Gregory for her 7th Westminster qualifying win! She's almost there! :-)=
