[ SHOWGSD-L ] A few questions for those looking for majors at all breeds

Is the only way to get majors in this economy is to go for Breed then group 1?
(we keep entering and not going because they are falling short..such a waste of
money) Are we hurting ourselves when we try to build them? Should we just sit
it out and hope AKC will lower the dog/bitch numbers?? Seems like alot of the
shows that have been consistantly having majors for years have all fallen short
this year. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
