I have yet to see an all breed with majors in Ohio, the only one being the
Steel
Valley Cluster, and they only have 24 dogs total this time. The all breeds are
worthless to go to if you are looking for points, and it seems the specialties
aren't much better here.
Maybe it's just Ohio, or maybe it's the economy.

why would anyone want to "dumb down" the system? dogs are still getting
their majors, finishing their championships. keep making it easier and the
title becomes universally meaningless. can't speak for anywhere else, but
the ABs in CA do draw majors, as do our specialties.

Is the only way to get majors in this economy is to go for Breed then
group 1? (we keep entering and not going because they are falling short..such
a
waste of money) Are we hurting ourselves when we try to build them? Should
we just sit it out and hope AKC will lower the dog/bitch numbers?? Seems
like alot of the shows that have been consistantly having majors for years
have all fallen short this year. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
