This is an outstanding video!....should be viewed and discussed at the upcoming
joint board meeting!.....it's 28 minutes so get comfortable when viewing....the
main point from my point of view was genetic diversity is the key to overall
breed health!....the video showed a bull dog breeder who decided to take on
health issues in his breed. He wanted to breed bull dogs who could deliver
litters without c-sections...he also wanted to change tails and face wrinkles
thereby decreasing infections prone to those areas on the dog....his breedings
have not won the favors of the show judges but he believes in time they
will!......saw some show GSDs in the video...not as angulated as our
dogs........the film also talked out Dalmatians being cross bred with a type of
English pointer to correct something in the breed....the overall health, vigor,
and temperament of our breed should trump everything else....you need to watch
