MORE Legitimate questions regarding this request for Standard changes
for faults and DQ's by the current Board being asked.. and none have
really been answered.
These changes, and the questions are ALL very important to most of
us as Breeders and Exhibitors that have approved of and adhered to
the Standard for many years as members of the Parent Club.
Linda Bankhead has asked repeatedly why it was not published in
the complete, corrected revised version in the August Review as
voted on and agreed to by the Board itself.
The silence is pretty deafening.
Zoe at least has tried to respond to some of the questions with
some of the legal answers.

Can someone please explain why the white DQ fault SHOULD be removed?
Because some don't see a need to change the standard, I have read where
individuals
accused them of "hate" and propaganda. Yet I have not seen where an
explanation
of why the white DQ fault should be removed.
I have read where white gsd are involved in SAR, tracking, etc and thus can
performed
in all other venues as well as a colored coated gsd. A dog with hanging ears
can
perform these tasks also. Should the hanging ear DQ fault be removed as
well?
I have read about the negative effects of different alleles and "white"
genes.
However, those wanting the standard change deny any possible negative effect
to
breeding to white dogs. What is the benefit in terms of pigment?
So please answer these three questions
1. What is the benefit in terms of pigment?
2. Why SHOULD the white DQ fault be removed?
3. Should the hanging ear DQ fault be removed as well?
