[ SHOWGSD-L ] A Plea from List Administration

Please, List Members, check your spam/junk folders on a continual  
basis.  If a list post ends up in there and gets deleted from there.  
the ISP of that address gets notified that the sending address is  
SPAM!   (some mail programs delete automatically after a certain  
amount of time,too).
What happens next is that not only THAT address, but others of the  
same ISP gets the SPAM label.  Freelists gets notified that the  
address has been listed as Spam, and unsubscribes that member and  
often several others...  sometimes lots of others.

ADministration does NOT get notified of this situation.  So after a  
couple of weeks of somebody not getting list mail, they ask "WHY?"   
And Administrations starts checking and checking and ... (you get the  
idea).  Each person that asks where is our list mail gets an  
individual check to make sure they are list members, have been  
dropped, and then ADMIN resubscribes them.

I love you all, but this is time consuming and preventable.
