Hey Jen,

Did you know that doing that does enter your number into their computer system?

You might talk to the credit card companies as you can request them to remove
you from calling.

Since I have talked to individuals at the Federal Trade Center they do more
than just telemarketers.

Did you know that most robot calls come through computers using a random
of numbers reason they get unlisted numbers too. I use a landline phone so
the telephone company will fill you in on this if you have one.

Just be careful on how you deal with this.

For the "robot
calls"... I just learned this just last week from my
excellent new secretary: Though you have to suffer
listening to their entire message, then all the options, the
very last thing the message will say is "press #x to
opt out/unsubscribe to this call list". (Like I ever
subscribed?!?)   Then follow the prompts. They always want
you to enter your phone # though they called you for some
reason...!With the new credit card machines
having come out last month, the office is being bombarded
with CC machine companies trying to sell me a new machine
and "great rates that will beat what your are currently
paying". Hey at least they're in English by an
English speaking person having made the recording so know
what button to push for the opt out LOLI have
also learned that the "Do Not Call" list is only
for telemarketers; the places that purchase your
information from 3rd party lists don't qualify as
telemarketers. :(  Always make sure that whenever you order
things, subscriptions, et cetera, to look hard and find the
box where you can "do not share my information with any
third parties". Companies are excellent at hiding them,
but they're legally obligated to have them
"available" to uncheck somewhere along your
ordering process...
Jen P & her Pack who finally
have clean windows today LOL
