I agree Peg. I thought the AKC was for preserving the
purebred..............now this message subliminally sent means it's ok to
mix breeds. It's like saying go ahead breed mutts, breed your labradoodles
etc...........you can still compete in every way a purebred can except
confirmation.
I think it just sends the wrong message out and i filled out my survey
saying this much.
ILP's are different to me,,,,,,some mixed breds might slip through but i
think the idea was for rescues or dogs whose papers can't be found or
restored that are purebred so they can still compete in performance.
It is just my opinion, but are we being phased out here ??
Mixed breeds, puppymills/brokers.............
The hobby breeders who have worked and strived for a higer standard in
health, temperaments and pure bred bloodlines, correct structure etc, are
going to be extinct and sold out for the much higher profit
earners......................it's really sad to see our registry even
thinking of selling us all short.............
I truly hope this never comes to be!
I always want to think positive, but geez lately that has really been
tough!!!!
And of course this is just my opinions.....i see others have a very
different take on this as well.........................
